Wining and dining
Forlì, and Romagna in general, are well-known for their unique wining and dining products. From the extraordinary fruit (peaches, kiwis, apples, pears and cherries), to the unmistakable shallot. From the extra-virgin olive oil produced in Brisighella and on the Romagna hills, to tasty fresh cheeses such as squacquerone – a perfect accompaniment to His Majesty Maestà, piadina bread - or raviggiolo from the Tosco-Romagnolo Apennine area; mention should also be made of mature cheeses, such as those seasoned in the pits of Sogliano al Rubicone.
